Malta Metal Weekend 2026 is set to welcome a very special guest this November, as Nicko McBrain joins the event for a unique live appearance in Malta on Sunday 15 November 2026. The event forms part of his 2026 spoken word tour and brings one of heavy music’s most loved and recognisable figures to St Julian’s, Malta for a special standalone appearance.

Best known as the legendary drummer of Iron Maiden, Nicko McBrain has spent decades at the very top of rock and heavy metal. Since joining Iron Maiden in 1982, he has become one of the most influential and admired drummers in the genre, helping shape the band’s sound across 14 studio albums, multiple live releases and world tours.
