GUS G. WITH RONNIE ROMERO BIO

The list of guitarists Ozzy Osbourne has worked with throughout his career is second to none, including Randy Rhoads, Brad Gillis, Jake E. Lee and Zakk Wylde. So, whenever the Prince of Darkness announces a new shredder in his line-up, headbangers certainly take note. For the 2009/2010 OZZY - world tour and the album “Scream“, that six-stringer was GUS G.

After Gus left Ozzy’s band in 2017, he concentrated on his power-metal band FIREWIND and on his solo career. 

GUS G released 10 albums with FIREWIND, the last one „Stand United“ (2024, AFM) is a major success and hit the metal charts worldwide.

GUS G has released three albums under his own name: I Am The Fire (2014), Brand New Revolution (2015), and Fearless (2018) each a mix of instrumentals and songs with guest vocalists.

His fourth studio album “Quantum Leap” (AFM Records, 2021) , written and recorded during the pandemic is an all instrumental master piece, where he incorporates his traditional sounds and new experimentations, from Metal, Classic Hard Rock to Progressive Metal.

RONNIE ROMERO (Rainbow, Elegant Weapons, x-MSG) is joining forces with Guitar Wizard GUS G. (Firewind, x-Ozzy Osbourne). They will play a mix of their solo catalogues and some Dio, Rainbow, Black Sabbath and Ozzy classics.

RONNIE & GUS just released their new mutual song „My Premonition“, which is available on all streaming platforms. Their European Covergence – Tour“ in October 2025 was a huge success.

RONNIE ROMERO is considered one of the best classic rock singers of the moment. As the singer of Ritchie Blackmore’s RAINBOW, as the former singer of MSG MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, he recorded three albums with, Ronnie has always impressed millions of rock fans with his absolutely incredible voice. He is currently working with Elegant Weapons, a heavy metal supergroup consisting of the Guitarist Richie Faulkner from Judas Priest, and his solo project.

RONNIE ROMERO released his first solo album in summer 2023, “Too many Lies, Too many Masters” (Frontiers). Rich Power Metal carried by this extraordinary voice. His 2nd solo album „Backbone“ (Frontiers) was released on October 24th 2025.

Some songs were co-written by Russ Ballard, Backbone got very good critics worldwide.
