Angelcrypt are a melodic death metal powerhouse from the stunning island of Malta, carving their mark on the global scene since their formation in 1997. Their track "The Black Hand" was even chosen as the official theme song for Banger TV's acclaimed Global Overkill series, further cementing their growing international presence.

Over the years, the band has stormed prestigious festivals and toured relentlessly across Europe and beyond. They've shared stages with some of metal's most respected names, including Grave, Blaze Bayley, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Memoriam, Destruction, and Pestilence, among many others. Their resume includes appearances at major festivals such as Masters of Rock, where they performed alongside Till Lindemann, Hammerfall, and Powerwolf. In 2019, their dedication and impact were formally recognised with a nomination for 'Best International Achievement' by the Malta Arts Council.

Delivering an uncompromising and high-caliber dose of Maltese melodic death metal, Angelcrypt are known for electrifying live performances that keep crowds wanting more. With numerous shows already locked in across Europe, 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for the band.

In 2020, Angelcrypt reached a major milestone by signing with Germany's esteemed Boersma Records. Before unveiling their long-awaited full-length album Dawn Of The Emperor on June 12, 2020, they had already made a strong impression with their previous release, We Are the Dead. This momentum continued with the launch of their singles "Forever Hero," "Legacy of Valour," and "Through Blackened Waters," all of which became fan favourites during live shows.

Looking ahead, the band is preparing to release a brand-new single, details soon to be revealed, alongside their highly anticipated European tour kicking off in April, set to enthrall audiences with Angelcrypt's trademark sound and unrelenting energy.
